Updates - Xmas rent payments

Christmas is a happy time of year, but we also know it can prove stressful and difficult for our tenants trying to make ends meet when there are presents and celebrations to pay for.

While we don't want to spoil anyone's fun, it is vital to pay bills on time in December, just as it is through the rest of the year, so you can enjoy Christmas and New Year without any money worries.

This year we are sending out an information leaflet Opens in a new window to remind all our tenants to ensure their rent is paid, and to offer our help to those who may be struggling.

Anyone who experiences difficulties paying their rent should contact the Income Team straight away and we will do what we can to help agree an appropriate payment plan.

Alternatively, tenants can seek advice from the Welfare Rights Team who can offer assistance with claiming benefits, or give advice on how tenants can manage their debts.
